Ding!
The bell on the door chimed- alerting there was new customer, the girl glanced at the man behind the counter; he was reading some glossy magazine not really paying attention to anyone. She shrugged and ventured off to find the fiction section. "Hmm..." Aura tapped a finger nail on her lower lip scanning through the shelves. She found the classic section and headed over to it, turning her head sideways she took out a book, smiling at it. "There you are." It was a copy of Moby Dic..k. By Herman Melville. Aura leafed through it, smiling still. "This always, had been my favorite book." She glanced up, spotted a chair and sat down in it. The creak of faux leather welcomed her, she sat Indian style in the chair; happily reading the book- later on she would pay for it...but for now, she'd rather read some of it.

Streak entered Between the Lines in a *insert gasp here* bad moody. Nothing was going right. Today was definatly in the top ten worst days of her life. She had gone from the werewolf of a queen to a lone wolf in a matter of seconds. Never since the end of her training had Streak gone without a master. She had always been by Sunni's side. It never even entered her mind that Sunni would rather not have the werewolf around. Streak hadpushed her too far. But, still, she wouldn't take back a word she said. She spoke the truth, and if Sunni couldn't take it, tough.
The worst part of the day was that it could get worse.
Streak browsed the classics, her golden eyes flitting from spine to spine. Finally, they settled on Jane Eyre as she pulled it from the shelf and headed to the back to read it. The clerked hated when customers read before buying, but Streak wasn't in the mood to worry herself on others' feeling. The werewolf merely glanced at the other customer before settling into a plush recliner and began reading.

Her perfect hearing did not miss when the door opened, her blue eyes darted up when the werewolf entered. That woody smell followed her. Aura wrinkled her nose, it was...that scent again. What did Dray call them again?...Oh, companies. Her face relaxed, she cracked a smile. An odd thing to see, it was so...joyful. So, real. It wasn't natural looking on a vampire. And yet the smile suited her fine.
She closed the book with a snap! And hopped out of the chair, gleefully. Aura le' tucked the book under her arm and headed for the counter, looking over at the werewolf curiously- while she passed by on her way too the counter.
((Ugh, sorry about not replying back for so long. {Computer trouble} ><' This is why I hate all technology. ))

Streak's eyes darted up when she heard the book shut closed but barely gave the vampire a thought. If she was one of Sunni's, fine. If she was one of Drake's....well Streak was in the mood for a fight. She didn't bother returning the vampire's smile; Streak was against faking facial expressions.
((It's short. Not supposed to be on right now. I'm at school.))

To her disappointment she was one of Sunni's little vampires, somewhat new to the world thou. Aura had been out of touch with humanity for awhile, but a lot of vampires were when you thought about it. She set her book down and smiled at the clerk, he looked up from his glossy magazine and grunted. He looked on the back of the book and typed in the info on his keyboard, clearing his throat he said: "That'll be 7.95 mam'."
Aura' le looked puzzled, she patted around on her turquoise dress for some money, and sighed. The dress came down to her knee's and ruffled. Her sleeves were long and frayed at the edges, but not for fashion sake. It looked like someone- someone with claws messed with the fabric. She smiled, frailly. "I forgot my money. Would you be able to hold this for me book-keeper?" Aura asked, he nodded returning to his magazine. Now only if she remembered where home was- and where her sash was...full of money. She sighed, walking to the door with her head down. Not until she heard a crack did she realize she smacked into the door- making the glass vibrate. "Ow..."
